We are seeking to appoint a Social Worker with experience of adult social care. The East Locality Social Work Team cover the East of the Middlesbrough area. The service is very keen to promote flexible working for all staff. This includes agile working at home as well as Middlesbrough Council bases. A blended working contract is offered for all staff. To help us recruit social workers who are committed to working in Middlesbrough we are currently offering a 10% supplement to social work salaries. This additional 10% will be reviewed at the end of March 2025.

The role will involve:

Assessing individuals both service users and carers who live in east Middlesbrough.

Completing comprehensive care needs assessments and support plans.

Implementing services for those who are vulnerable and are experiencing trauma.
