We are seeking to recruit a Customer Service Representative with excellent communication skills who is committed to delivering high quality customer services on behalf of Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council.

 You will need to be able to demonstrate recent experience of dealing with the general public on a face to face basis or over the telephone. If you have experience of delivering customer service within the public sector or within other public serving industries this would be an advantage, however, training will be provided to cover all requirements of the role. The Service has a strong customer focus, embedded team working ethics and commitment in delivering customer service excellence to residents of Redcar and Cleveland.

Your primary location of work will be in a Contact Centre located in the Council’s offices, Kirkleatham Street in Redcar. On occasion, there may be a requirement to work at other Customer Service locations within the boundaries of Redcar & Cleveland Borough. Candidates will be required to work within service hours of 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday (excluding bank holidays)
