We currently have the following Support Worker opportunities available within our team (weekly hours can vary due to shift patterns)
 
16 hours per week (part time) - over a 3 week rota
Pro rata actual salary £9,995 - £10,332 (£23,114 - £23,893 FTE)

23 hours per week (part time) - over a 3 week rota
Pro rata actual salary £14,368 - £14,852 (£23,114 - £23,893 FTE)

Lanark Close Short Breaks Service provides support for adults living in the Borough of Stockton-On-Tees with an identified Learning Disability.

The role of Support Worker involves promoting independent personal care skills, daily living skills and social activities, increasing their confidence and to be as independent as possible in all aspects of their lives.

We will provide you with a structured training programme leading to a diploma at Level 3 with a range of other learning opportunities and the encouragement to develop your career further.

All you need to be a success is:
  • Professional knowledge and experience of working in a care setting and / or NVQ Level 2 in Adult Social Care or equivalent
  • Good verbal and written communications skills
  • Empathy and a passion to support others
  • Enhanced DBS clearance
