‘Pupils behave well. Staff and pupils get on well’
                                                      Ofsted, February 2023

Northfield School is a large 11-16 school and specialist sports college.  We are an ambitious and inclusive school with state of the art facilities and interactive technology in a well-resourced newly refurbished main building and a separate new Year 7 school.

Following an inspection in February 2023, Ofsted judged the school to be good in all areas. Results in the summer continued the upward trend. This is a great time to join our school and a fantastic opportunity for the right colleague.

We are looking to appoint a highly motivated and skilled Inclusion Manager who will be responsible for the leadership, management, administration and organisation of all aspects of the school’s inclusion facility to support the school’s aim of reducing the number of suspensions and to support those at risk of disengaging from education.  Our inclusion facility provides an alternative to suspension in order to allow pupils to be included within school, make progress and overcome barriers to their learning.

Applications would be welcome from colleagues with experience of working with pupils with challenging behaviour in a school setting or from those who have worked with young people in social care or other alternative settings.

We can offer you:
  • an enthusiastic, talented and supportive team
  • a newly built and superbly resourced teaching and learning environment
  • excellent opportunities for CPD
  • a staff health and well being programme
  • a warm, friendly and positive working environment where everyone is valued

An official application form and further details are available on our web page www.northfieldssc.org and should be returned to HR@northfieldssc.org

Alternatively, applications are also accepted by post (FAO Catherine Frost). NB: we do not accept CVs.
Visits to the school are welcome by appointment; please call Catherine Frost or email HR@northfieldssc.org

CLOSING DATE: FRIDAY 10TH MAY 2024, 12 NOON

The school is committed to safer recruitment practice and pre-employment checks will be undertaken before any appointment is confirmed. The posts are subject to enhanced disbarring bureau service disclosure.
