The Governors of Mortimer Primary School are seeking to appoint an Administration Officer to join our team. Working in a large thriving primary school that aims to deliver ‘Excellence for all’.
 
This is a unique opportunity for a highly organised person with excellent communication and IT skills to join the Office Team. You will provide a comprehensive clerical service to the school and be a first point of contact for visitors.
 
The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate skills in the following areas:-
  • recent experience of working in a school office environment
  • is a team player with a positive attitude and outlook
  • sensitive to the needs of children and their parents and carers
  • has a calm and positive approach with a ‘can do’ attitude
  • ability to use own initiative and be pro-active
  • ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • ability to be flexible and adaptable
  • be a good role model to staff, parents and pupils
  • have a commitment to the whole life of the school
