Darlington Borough Council, Corporate Landlord group are seeking to recruit a Pool Plant Technician to carry out repairs and maintenance to swimming pool and associated plant within the Dolphin Centre and schools throughout the borough of Darlington. 

 The role of Pool Plant Technician is critical to maintaining and upgrading swimming pool plant , you will also be required to help out in other maintenance areas, supporting other trades with repairs and maintenance.

To operate and maintain the swimming pool dozing and control systems to ensure that safe swimming conditions and chemically balanced water prevail at all times. To carry out general repairs to pool plant and general maintenance around the Dolphin Centre. Carry out work on pool plant within schools periodically.

To work with other members within the Corporate Landlord  team, to ensure  a quality and cost effective service.

You must be confident to work independently although support from the broader team is always available. We require dynamic, innovative and forward-thinking people to join our team, it is essential that you have 2 years experience in working in a pool plant environment and have a relevent ISRM Pool Plant Operators Certificate, or be willing to work towards within a reasonable time of commencing the post.
