Hours: 37 Hours per Week, Term Time only plus 10 days

Location: The Post reports to the Chief Financial & Operating Officer but on a day-to-day basis will report to the Headteachers of Galley Hill Primary School and New Marske Primary School

Start date: 1st September 2024


Purpose of the Post:

• To provide business/administrative support across two Trust schools (initially Galley Hill and New Marske Primary).

• To line manage other school-based administration and support staff.

• To lead by example in creating a culture of professional excellence and achievement in all aspects of work, and always demonstrate commitment to upholding and developing the Galileo MAT ethos and aims of the Trust.


We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will work at both Galley Hill and New Marske Primary schools. The post holder will work closely with the Headteacher at each school and the Trust’s Chief Financial Officer, to provide high quality business support within each school. This is a key role which requires a highly efficient person to liaise with relevant staff, parents, carers, and outside agencies.


The successful candidate will:

• Have extensive experience of working in a business management environment with specific knowledge of finance, contract management, estates management and HR related issues.

• Be an excellent communicator and have sharp attention to detail.

• Have experience of leading and working collaboratively within a team.

• Show a commitment to the overall vision, values and ethos of the Trust.

• Demonstrate the ability to work on their own initiative.
