2024 marks an exciting time to join South Tyneside Council’s Outdoor Education Service, having just recently celebrated it’s 40th anniversary.
Based at Simonside Climbing Wall in South Shields, you will deliver a range of land and water based adventurous activities to children, young people and adults, in addition to Duke of Edinburgh’s Award training / expeditions and accredited First Aid training.
You will be expected to work flexibly to meet the needs of the service. This will include working from our 2 centres which include; the Water Activities Centre in South Shields and Akenshawburn Cottages in Kielder. It will also include working on an evening, weekend and on a residential basis.
