Unity City Academy is a successful and growing provider of 11 to 16 education in the east end of Middlesbrough. The role:

The Unity Academy Maths Department believes in a knowledge-rich curriculum and an ethos of developing and sharing best practices to encourage high standards across the academy. We have a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious, driven Maths teacher to join our team and strengthen our department. You will be teaching Mathematics across the full age and ability range. You will be joining our hard-working team of forward-thinking professionals dedicated to ensuring students reach their potential. We believe in delivering a curriculum to encourage student progress and high expectations for all ability levels.


Our ideal candidate will be:

• An outstanding practitioner, or who wishes to develop outstanding practice

• Have a love of learning and high expectations of student’s achievement and behaviour

• Have excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills

• An strong team player who will work in partnership with staff, governors, parents and the wider community
