A three form entry school with 65 place nursery located on the north western edge of Blyth on the Northumberland coast, only 15 minutes from Newcastle upon Tyne. The school was inspected in 2023 and was graded outstanding in every area.
We are looking appoint a teaching assistant, who loves working with young children, to support teaching and learning in Early Years which will involve working in our 2 year old provision, Nursery and Reception. We are looking for someone who:
- Has experience of working with children
- Knowledge of early child development
- Is enthusiastic, flexible and resilient
- Has a good standard of literacy and numeracy
- Will ensure that every pupil reaches their potential
- Has very high expectations of pupil behaviour
- Will be committed to supporting the schools’ ethos and reputation within the community
- Is first aid trained or willing to undertake relevant training
- Is confident in covering classes if required
- Is willing to engage in professional development.
This post is 37hrs per week TT+5, fixed term maternity cover, start date ASAP, end date 31/12/2027.
