Applications are invited for the position of Chief of Staff with the Police and Crime Commissioner (PCC) for Cleveland based at Cleveland Police Headquarters.
The Chief of Staff will be required to provide strategic leadership, support and advice across a range of functions, including being the statutory monitoring officer. These are detailed in the application pack, but in summary consist of:
• Strategy and resource planning,
• Partnership working, commissioning and service delivery,
• Engagement and information management,
• Scrutiny, evaluation and performance; and
• Functional managerial and leadership to ensure an efficient and effective Office
of the PCC / corporate support team.
These functions along with the unique environment within which the Chief of Staff operates, require a range of qualities, which are detailed in the pack.
