Hours of work will be 11.30am - 1.00pm

Due to the expanison at the school, the Governors of Catchgate Primary are looking to appoint an additional staff member to join the Lunch Supervisors team. The successful candidate must be enthusiastic and be able to build and maintain good relationships with both children and staff. Duties include assisting with set up and clean down of the dining hall supervising the children throughout. The lunch supervisors are responsible for the care of children from age 4-11 over the lunch period of 11.30-1.00pm, during this period staff are required to lead play sessions with the children. The successful candidate must be able to set up creative activities using their own initiative. Responsible for the safety and supervision of the children lunch staff are required to administer basic first aid, maintain accurate records and provide pastoral care to children. First aid and food hygiene training would be desirable but is not essential.

Candidates will have to meet the requirements of the person specification in order to be offered the post and will be subject to an enhanced DBS check.
