Are you an outstanding practitioner or Head of Department looking to make the move into senior leadership?

Governors are seeking to appoint an outstanding teacher of Mathematics who is forward thinking, innovative and with ambition and moral purpose to support the development of our students. With successful experience of leadership in developing the quality of Teaching and Learning and promoting student progress, the appointed candidate will support the Faculty Leader for Mathematics and work in collaboration with the Assistant Headteacher: Teaching and Learning/CPD. As part of the Leadership Team, the post-holder will have responsibility for aspects of some whole school priorities, primarily improving the quality of Teaching and Learning and whole school numeracy.

This is an opportunity to be part of the leadership of the school at an exciting time. School accommodation will be significantly remodelled from 2014, for opening in September 2015. The Mathematics Faculty will move to new accommodation. There is a clear focus on Teaching and Learning and we will celebrate our 400th anniversary in 2014.

Essential Qualifications: QTS, Degree in relevant subject area
Desirable: Significant recent CPD.
