The governors of Consett Infant School & Nursery Unit are seeking to appoint a teacher who:
• Is a good to outstanding classroom practitioner;
• Has a good knowledge of the KS1 curriculum;
• Is able to use assessment to track and plan for at least good progress in children’s learning;
• Has high expectations of themselves and the children;
• Has a commitment to developing a creative curriculum to enthuse and motivate learners;
• Is passionate about creating a stimulating learning environment where children grow and flourish;
• Is able to communicate effectively;
• Has a good range of behavioural management skills;
• Is committed to maintaining the schools high standards;
• Has experience of teaching children with a wide range of SEN;
• Is able to work flexibly and as part of the school team.
