Shotton Hall is a larger than average sized primary school located in a new, state of the art building in East Durham.

A school which values good relationships and where the children come first, Governors seek to appoint a committed passionate, approachable and experienced Headteacher or Senior Manager with the confidence and enthusiasm to lead every aspect of school life.

Applicants should have the proven ability to manage, nurture and develop the staff team whilst driving forward success as a school.

Whilst Ofsted rated our school as ‘requiring improvement to be consistently good’ in January 2014, we have instigated and delivered wide spread changes which have already had a significant impact.

Applicants will need to provide leadership of high quality in the academic, pastoral and management fields and be able to show evidence of the successful implementation of sustainable change.
