The Durham Federation is a Federation between two Outstanding Colleges where standards, behaviour, quality of teaching and student progress are amongst the best in the country.

Durham Community Business College was judged by OFSTED to be ‘Outstanding’ in February 2011 whilst Fyndoune Community College was judged by OFSTED to be ‘Outstanding’ in November 2011.

We require a talented teacher, with energy and enthusiasm to teach Art across the ability range across the Federation. The successful candidate must be able to teach Art to GCSE level. The ability to teach at KS5 would be useful but is not essential.

• The characteristics of an excellent lesson
• Your view of the role and significance of Art within the curriculum, and how standards can be driven up for students of all abilities.
• How you fulfil the requirements of the person specification and meet the needs of the role.

Essential Qualifications: Qualified Teacher status, Degree Level Qualification.
