North Area -
Chester-le-Street

Central Area -
Freeman’s Quay, Durham

South Area -
Spennymoor
Bishop Auckland
Newton Aycliffe
Teesdale

Opportunities have arisen for Casual Swimming Teachers. The successful applicants will be expected to make a significant contribution to the development of our learn to swim programme and must be committed to continuous improvement. Working as part of a small team, you will be responsible for the delivery of swimming lessons to a wide variety of clients. You must be willing to assist the Aquatics Co-ordinators in the development of the programme and the delivery of a quality service.

Required Qualifications:
RLSS National Pool Lifeguard Qualification or National Rescue Award for Swimming Teachers and Coaches
ASA Level 2 Teaching Aquatics Qualifications

Committed, motivated and enthusiastic swim teachers who would like to develop their experience and skills are encouraged to apply.

Please note, a practical swim teaching assessment will be required for those who are successful after the interview stage. This assessment would be held on a later date to be arranged.

The successful applicants for these posts will be required to apply for Disclosure and Barring Service Enhanced Disclosure.

The post holders may be responsible to various Aquatics Co-ordinators depending upon which site they are working at.
