The Governors of Shotton Primary School are looking for a flexible, resourceful and hard-working HLTA to join our committed and dedicated KS2 department. We require for January a temporary Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our Year 5 team. The successful candidate will become part of a supportive team and dedicated staff, who have high expectations and demonstrate a caring attitude towards our children’s academic and personal development.

The successful candidate will be expected to take regular responsibility for a class during some teachers' PPA cover.

There will be an opportunity to visit our school on Wednesday 26th November at 2:30pm and 4:30pm. Please contact the school office to arrange an appointment. Application packs are available and returnable via email from shotton.primary@durhamlearning.net

Essential Qualifications:
• Have HLTA status [or qualified teacher experience].
• Be able to demonstrate levels of numeracy and literacy to GSCE [A-C] or equivalent.
