The Governing Body wishes to appoint an Admin Assistant to join our happy and successful school.

To start as soon as possible.

The successful candidate will be reliable, well-organised, have good communication skills and be able to work flexibly to meet the needs of the school.

The successful candidate should possess:
• Excellent communication and inter-personal skills
• Good organisational skills and the ability to work with initiative
• Good computer and word processing skills

The key duties and responsibilities will include:-
• being the first point of contact for the school, welcoming visitors and parents/carers and answering telephone calls
• assisting in the maintenance of computer based records using SIMS to ensure that these are all current and up to date
• being responsible for recording, monitoring ,reconciling and reporting of dinner monies sent to school on a regular basis and prepare for banking
• collection of money from pupils for school visits, clubs, fundraisers, uniform etc. and facilitating the banking of money received
• having the ability to work in a busy office environment with the skills to organise, prioritise and deal with multiple tasks whilst meeting deadlines
• working in a close team to achieve the best for our children and the school community.

It is desirable that the successful candidate will have previous experience of:-
• working within a school environment
• experience of using SIMS and FMS systems
• cash handling experience

Essential Qualifications: 4 GCSEs A – C (including English and Maths) or equivalent.

Essential Experience: Experience of working in a busy office environment.
