Due to the current post-holder relocating, the Governors of St Andrew’s Primary School seek to appoint a Senior Teacher to support teaching and learning across the school and to co-ordinate Special Educational Needs from Sept 2015.

We are looking for a high quality classroom practitioner who can motivate and inspire and has high aspirations for children. As a member of the senior leadership team, the successful candidate will take a pivotal role in ensuring our children achieve high standards, organising, overseeing and monitoring interventions across the school. The successful candidate would have a TLR for inclusion and for fulfilling the SENDCO role and duties as outlines in the job description.

We are looking for a teacher who will:
• Be able to provide children with dynamic and excellent learning opportunities;
• Have drive, enthusiasm and ability to inspire and motivate staff and pupils;
• Have a caring nature and the ability to build strong relationships with all stakeholders;
• Be able to share and build upon the vision to help our children achieve their full potential;
• Be ambitious and wish to develop their career;
• Have high expectations and a strong commitment to raising standards;
• Have the ability to grasp new approaches in excellent pedagogical practice and support our team in delivering these standards consistently across the school.
