Cleveland Fire Brigade is looking for a self-motivated individual to assist in the delivery of of its Integrated Community Safety Policy through the education of children both in groups and on an individual basis across the Brigade area.
Your role will be to support the development and implementation of both the Schools Education programme and Firesetter Intervention programme. As well as working with groups of children in an education setting you will also have to work on a one to one basis with identified young people to promote fire safety. It is therefore essential that candidates are able to demonstrate the ability to work effectively in both of these settings.
Candidates must have demonstrable experience of working with a variety of curriculum levels up to kay stage 3, be confident in delivering presentations and have the ability to tactfully deal with sensitive situations. In addition candidates will be required to undertake an Enhanced DBS Check.
