A temporary vacancy has arisen within Legal Services until approximately September 2016 for a Solicitor to provide a high quality legal service to the Council and the Officers within Adult and Children's Social Services and Education. This vacancy is for a solicitor to issue and conduct care proceedings on behalf of the authority.
Candidates should be a qualified Solicitor with current practicing certificate or qualified Barrister. The service will consider those about to qualify having completed all academic stages.
The post holder should possess recent advocacy experience under the Children Act 1989.
Candidates should have good organisational and communication skills and have the ability to handle a heavy and complex workload.
