Cleveland Fire Brigade is looking to recruit a self-motivated individual who can undertake a lead role in the Management of Cleveland Fire Authority’s property assets in line with the Cleveland Fire Brigade Property Asset Management plan.
The Brigade is currently investing £25.9 million into its Estates and you would be joining the team at a challenging but exciting time of rebuild and refurbishment projects.
This is a temporary position with a defined programme of activity and objectives.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the management of the building engineering services across the estate portfolio, inspecting and reviewing the functionality of mechanical and electrical services and making recommendations regarding safety, life expectancy, energy efficiency, upgrading and planned maintenance.
Proven experience in engineering and building services is essential as is experience of managing Planned Preventative Maintenance Systems.
The successful candidate must be able to work under pressure; managing and prioritising own workload to deliver high quality results to set deadlines with minimum supervision.
