Cleveland Fire Brigade are now recruiting Wholetime Firefighters.
This is an exciting opportunity for skilled personnel with recent fire and rescue service experience to join the Brigade for a fixed term period of 12 months.
Applications are invited from candidates who are qualified to, or working towards Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Emergency Fire Service Operations in the Community and who have recent experience of undertaking a firefighting role.
We are looking for people to work across all locations within the Cleveland Fire Brigade area therefore the ability to work flexibly and coherently as part of a team is a must. Individuals must also be enthusiastic and self-motivated.
Successful applicants must be able to demonstrate skills & competence aligned to a firefighting role across a range of incident types which includes the use of a range of equipment and PPE, including Breathing Apparatus.
An LGV driving licence with EFAD qualification would be desirable but is not essential.
