The Governors of this school are seeking to appoint a highly effective, conscientious and motivated
Temporary Grade 2 Teaching Assistant
37 hours, term time only, SCP 10-13
The successful candidate will work in classes, with groups and individuals to support learning and raise standards.
We are looking for someone who
• has an enthusiasm for teaching and learning
• has high expectations of children's achievement and behaviour
• is motivated and uses their initiative when necessary
• has experience in Early Years
• works well as part of a team and is willing to participate fully in all aspects of school life
• is able to relate well to children and adults, offering personal and social support to the wellbeing of key children and their families, attending relevant meetings
• has excellent literacy and numeracy skills
• is a caring and understanding person, with a good sense of humour, who is committed to supporting high standards and enjoyment of learning

Essential Qualifications:
Level 2 CACHE or equivalent
Essential Experience:
• Experience of working within a primary school environment
• Experience of working with individuals and groups
• Ability to use skills, expertise and experience to support pupil learning
