North Tyneside Council’s Shared Lives scheme is urgently seeking Shared Lives carers.
Shared Lives can be supporting an adult with a disability within the Shared Lives carers own home for a planned short break, emergency respite, long term support or day support.
Shared Lives carers are ordinary people who wish to share their home and life with an adult who has a disability. You will need to be a resident of North Tyneside and have a spare bedroom for overnight stays.
You will receive:
An allowance of up to £428 per week.
Ongoing training and support from the Shared Lives scheme.
