Further Information
An opportunity has arisen for a highly skilled qualified teacher to join The Northumberland Behaviour Support Service. The Behaviour Support Service is a peripatetic team working with school staff and multi-disciplinary professionals to assess the needs of learners (predominately between the ages of 3 and 16 years old) with social, emotional and behavioural difficulties and subsequently support the school or setting in the implementation and evaluation of appropriate strategies and approaches. We place a strong emphasis on building capacity within schools through a process of consultation and training.

We are looking for a practitioner with a significant level of experience working in the field of behaviour management who can demonstrate a comprehensive knowledge of evidence based strategies and approaches to support learners with social, emotional and behavioural difficulties. The successful candidate will also: need to be highly motivated; require excellent time management and organisational skills; have good report writing skills; be committed to supporting inclusion within mainstream school settings and be able to fulfil the travel requirements of a peripatetic teacher working in a large rural county.

Please see the attached job description and person specification for full details and previous applicants need not apply.
