The Governors of Tweedmouth West First School are looking to appoint a dedicated and conscientious caretaker. This is a Variable hours contract with a minimum of 20 hours per week and a maximum of 25 hours, initially appointment will be 25 hours.
The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring a welcoming and safe environment for the school community. Being flexible, trustworthy and having the ability to carry out minor repairs and general maintenance is essential.
Main duties will include:
- Ensuring the security of the building and contents. The caretaker is the main key holder for the school premises.
- Maintaining and monitoring the health and safety procedures and equipment.
- Liaising with outside contractors and agencies.
