You will be responsible for all day to day workload and staffing issues; assisting in preparing service delivery and plans for operational Construction and Highways matters; monitoring the workforce and help determine training requirements; carrying out inspections, monitoring and reporting authorised and unauthorised works; ensuring Public Liability Claims and immobile property damages are minimised, delivering training to the workforce.
You will be required to travel throughout the county to various work sites and must be able to work out of hours, sometimes at short notice.
You must have a Technical qualification at HNC or equivalent level, relevant Health and Safety training, NVQ 4 in Supervisory management and relevant supervisory and management experience. You must also have a detailed knowledge of all aspects of Construction and design and maintenance.
