We are looking for a Qualified EYFS Practitioner to work in a Learning Support Assistant role within an EYFS/Reception/KS1/2 Class.
Walworth is a Primary School for children with social, emotional, and mental health difficulties with associated learning and behavioural problems. The children need to be taught the national curriculum differentiated to meet their individual needs. They can be both verbally and physically abusive and aggressive.
The LSA’s role is to assist the class teacher with both the learning and behaviour management of the pupils. On occasions the role requires you to be able to converse with parents and other professional bodies with ease and provide advice in accurate spoken English.
You would be responsible for the teaching and learning of individual groups of children within the classroom setting.
Where our roles are customer facing and you are required to speak to members of the public, the ability to converse at ease with customers and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post. Essential Qualifications:
EYFS Qualification
Level 3 Teaching and Learning
3 years experience working with EYFS/KS1 pupils
GCSE Maths & English
