Bluebell Meadow Primary School is looking for someone with experience of supporting a child with additional needs and behavioural difficulties who can:

work under the instruction/guidance of senior/teaching staff to support the delivery of quality learning and teaching and to help raise standards of achievement for all pupils;

encourage the participation of pupils in the social and academic processes of the school, and enable pupils to become more independent learners.

undertake work/care/support programmes to enable access to learning for pupils and to assist the teacher in the management of pupils and the classroom.

The successful candidate should have:
Experience of liaising with SENDCo, parents, external agencies and attending meetings as appropriate.

Evidence of successfully supporting pupils in KS2

Essential Qualifications:
A teaching assistant qualification at NVQ Level 3 relevant to the Key Stage or its equivalent or relevant qualifications at
NVQ Level 3 in Child Care/Foundation.

Good Numeracy/Literacy skills – GSCE Maths & English (minimum grade C or higher/equivalent) 5 GCSEs including English and Maths.
