The head teacher and governors of Silver Tree Primary School are seeking to appoint an outstanding, enthusiastic, passionate and committed class teacher to join our successful, dedicated staff team in our welcoming and caring school, graded Good by Ofsted in June 2018.

The successful candidate will join our highly skilled and committed Key Stage One team. Applicants should be someone with high expectations who is committed to raising standards across the curriculum to ensure our children reach their full potential. They must be able to demonstrate teaching which is consistently good or better.

The successful candidate will:
• Demonstrate an understanding of how to provide an engaging, imaginative and balanced curriculum
• Have the ability to demonstrate excellent classroom practice
• Have exceptional standards and a track record of classroom behaviour management at all times
• Be able to become an effective member of our school team
• Demonstrate positivity and enthusiasm whilst working with children
Be effective and experienced in the teaching of phonics
• Have highly effective teaching skills that promote the inclusion of all children
• Have high expectations of children’s achievement and progress

Visits to the school are strongly encouraged and are available on 29th November 2018 at 9.30am and 4.30pm.
