Waves is a vibrant and exciting leisure facility in North Tyneside situated on Whitley Bay sea front.

The facility has a leisure pool benefiting from an aquatic play area, 3 racing slides and the highly popular wave machine. We also have a multi functional fitness suite, dance studio, soft play, two multi purpose meeting rooms and spa facilities.

We are currently seeking a part time Leisure Assistant to join the team at Waves. This is a 23.5 hour post working a two week shift pattern as below. The post attracts both shift allowance and weekend enhancements.

Week 1
Monday 4pm - 8pm
Tuesday OFF
Wednesday OFF
Thursday 8am - 2.30pm
Friday 2.30pm - 8pm
Saturday 10am - 6.15pm
Sunday 10am - 6.15pm

Week 2
Monday 4pm - 8pm
Tuesday OFF
Wednesday 1.30pm - 6.30pm
Thursday 4pm - 8pm
Friday 10am - 1pm
Saturday OFF
Sunday OFF

Applicants should have excellent customer care skills, use their initiative, provide an efficient and friendly service and be able to work as part of a team and on their own. They will supervise and ensure the safety of the public at all times.
