If you have ambitions to become a secondary teacher, then First Class Supply could have the perfect opportunity for you. Due to the busy nature of supply work, we are currently looking for confident individuals to work as Cover Supervisors across Tyne & Wear.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will be required to cover lessons where the class teacher is absent. The work will already be set, however you will be responsible for classroom management and safety of pupils.

Previous experience in the classroom is desirable, however if you are confident leading groups and can follow instructions then we would love to hear from you. Those with experience in any of the following would be of particular interest:
  • Sports Coaching
  • Youth Work
  • Drama Groups
  • Military / Police
  • Graduates (Childhood Studies, Psychology, Maths, English, Science etc…)
