Durham County Council are looking to bring a pest control professional into our team to ensure we can keep providing a high quality, trusted service that protects people and residents from harm.

The successful individual will be tasked with helping protect our clients by completing appropriate treatments to deal with a wide range of pest problems and providing advice to clients on what they can do to assist the treatment and prevent further problems. As part of their role, the post holder will be expected to work with a range of internal and external stakeholders including Environmental Health, Asset Management, Neighbourhood Wardens, social housing providers, and Northumbrian Water.

Required Qualifications:
RSPH Level 2 or equivalent in pest control/pest management.

It is anticipated that interviews will be held on Thursday 7th March 2019.

Due to the requirement to drive a County Council vehicle in this role, appointment will be subject to the production of a valid driving licence for the required category of vehicle and the satisfactory completion of an in-house Driver Induction Assessment.
