Post Title: Children Looked After PEP Caseworker
Post Grade: Grade 9, £27,905 - £31,371 per annum

We are looking for permanent, full-time Children Looked After PEP Caseworkers to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maximising the educational potential of a caseload of looked after children.

Duties of the post include, but are not limited to:
•Working with schools/settings, social Workers and Carers to ensure the best outcomes for Children Looked After.
•Attending PEP meetings to offer educational support and guidance to educational settings.
•Quality assuring the PEP system and provide feedback to schools.
•Work with schools/settings to support children to achieve to their full potential.
•Liaise with SEND and Inclusion team to support children into the right setting when they have an EHCP.
•Support the Post 16 PEP and work with the Progression and Learning Team to avoid Children Looked After from becoming NEET.
•Acting as the Corporate parent for children as they move through their education pathway.

Required Qualifications: Either an NVQ 4 or equivalent in relevant discipline OR equivalent Youth and Community Work Qualification.
