VACANCY NO: RES/20/324A

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Workforce Development Assistant (Systems/Digital Learning) to assist with the organisation and administration of Workforce Development (WFD) Programmes for the council, specifically in relation to the council’s learning management system (Durham Learning and Development System) and the approach to digital/virtual learning.

Key elements of this role will be to assist in:

• developing and implementing processes within the Durham Learning and Development system including implementing and maintaining courses frameworks and hosting learning activities and content;
• maximising the use of technology to improve processes, systems and learning opportunities;
• and providing technical and administrative support for administrators and users of the system.

You should be qualified to level 3 in a relevant subject, have previous experience of working with technology to support learning and development, knowledge and understanding of workforce development issues together with excellent ICT skills including Excel, communication, problem solving and organisational skills.
