A vacancy has arisen within Occupational Health and Safety for a Health and Safety Advisor to support the Health & Safety Manager, Team Leader and Senior Health & Safety Advisors in ensuring high standards of health and safety for all employees and in all areas where the Council has an interest.

The post holder will provide support and advice in particular to the Councils Neighbourhoods services which include clean and green activities, waste and recycling and fleet management.

They will also assist in the formulation of policies and procedures ensuring legislative compliance, best practice and safe working environments.

Candidates should have NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent and Level 4 or equivalent in a related vocational or professional field.
