*£36,922 to £40,876 (Grade 12) for Approved Mental Health Professional status *

We are looking to recruit a Social Worker to join the Mental Health Services for Older People Team within the Derwentside area.

The successful candidate will work with older people with mental health needs and will work closely with the Multi-Disciplinary Team, including Community Psychiatric Nurses, Medical staff, Occupational Therapists and Support Workers.

It is anticipated that interviews are to be held on week commencing 17th May 2021.

Interviews will be held remotely via Microsoft Teams. If you are successful at shortlisting you will be notified via North East Jobs of the date and time of your interview. A separate invite will be sent via Microsoft Teams.

Required qualifications: Professional qualification - Degree in SW, Dip SW, CSS or CQSW or recognised equivalent. Applicants must hold or be applying for Social Work England registration.
*As a first priority successful applicants must be willing to undertake AMHP training within 18 months (or less), of appointment, and to act on the AMHP rota when warranted.

The successful applicant for this post will be required to apply for a Disclosure & Barring Service Enhanced Disclosure.
