Hours of work: 11.45am-1.15pm

The Governors wish to appoint a caring and committed Supervisory Assistant to help the smooth running of lunchtimes at school.

Duties of the post will include:
The care and supervision of children during the lunch break.
Supervising the washing of hands and entry of the children into the dining hall.
Helping generally during the serving of meals.
Assisting younger pupils as necessary.
Ensuring good conduct and behaviour in line with the school’s Behaviour Management Policy.
Initiating and supervising games and activities either outside or inside.
Providing simple first aid.

The position is paid whole time with retainer adjustments applied to periods of school closure. You will not be required to work during the school closure periods however your salary in these periods will be adjusted accordingly in line with the retainer regulations as specified in the National Joint Council (NJC) Green Book agreement.
