We currently have two vacancies (37 and 18.5 hours per week) for Health and Social Care Officers within Newcastle City Council’s Service based at Connie Lewcock Resource Centre, our short-term rehabilitation centre for adults.

These posts involve working on the front-line providing care and support to some of the most vulnerable adults in the city. We are looking for applicants with a flexible approach who are committed to making a real difference to people’s lives.
Our staff work closely with health colleagues and must be able to demonstrate a strong commitment to promoting independence, health, wellbeing and choice to those who use our services. Maintaining the dignity of people must be a priority at all times and successful applicants must be able to deliver personal care with great sensitivity.

In addition, you will receive:
