Project Support Officer
Temporary post until 31st March 2024

VACANCY NO: AHS/22/509

We are looking to appoint a Project Support Officer to join the Supporting the Provider Market (STPM) Team leading on the Council’s work to enhance support for our local social care markets.

The Project Support Officer will work as part of the STPM Team to enhance, maintain and support workforce training, recruitment, retention and development in a number of adult and children’s social care sectors.

The STPM team is transformative, in accordance with Durham County Council corporate priorities, with an emphasis on new ways of working, including supporting providers with the utilisation of technology to improve service delivery.

The post-holder will provide appropriate support to assist with the delivery of all strands of the STPM work. They will ensure high standards of project support are continuously delivered to meet the current and future requirements of the team.

The post holder will monitor and maintain a range of systems to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the STPM work and support the appropriate reporting requirements. The post holder will be required to work with stakeholders across the social care and health system and support with building relationships with independent sector social care providers.

Essential Qualifications: A recognised qualification in Business Administration at Level 4 or above or relevant experience.

It is anticipated that interviews will be held week commencing 5th September, 2022
