We have an opportunity for a Business Engagement and Account Manager to join the team at Business Durham.

WHAT IS INVOLVED? 
You will be required to engage with and proactively support businesses in County Durham in order to support Business Durham’s agenda to grow the economy, including developing and managing portfolios of companies, relationship building and engagement, and providing proactive services to enable further business development and growth.

You will be responsible for developing and maintaining knowledge of the key sectors in the County and establishing strong relationships with external organisations and partners to support the growth of County Durham businesses.

WHAT WILL I NEED? 
You should be educated to degree level or equivalent and/or be able to demonstrate extensive relevant experience
 
It is expected that you have recent experience of engaging with SMEs and delivering business support or business developing services.  Significant recent experience of engaging, developing and managing business relationships is essential.

HYBRID WORKING
Durham County Council currently operates a hybrid working policy where a model of 2 days in the workplace and 3 days at home/remote will apply. This model is pro-rated for part time roles and arrangements are at managers discretion, alternatively you can work all of your contracted hours within the workplace if you prefer.
