Epinay School has moved to a new, state of the art school site and our pupil numbers are increasing. The Governors and Head Teacher of Epinay Business and Enterprise School would like to appoint Drivers and Escorts to join our staff team.
The successful candidates will have responsibility for transporting children and young people to and from school on a daily basis. Knowledge of the local area is desirable. Drivers will be expected to complete MIDAS training before commencing the contract. Full training for both positions will be given.
Working pattern will be 1 hour in the morning (approx. 8.00 am – 9.00 am) and 1 hour in the afternoon (approx. 3.00 pm to 4.00 pm). Additional driving/escorting ad hoc hours may be available during the school year. For example, taking children and young people home following after school clubs.
Applicants will have the energy and vision to support school staff in ensuring our students are happy, confident, independent learners who are prepared for adulthood. You will be able to support pupils of all ages and have the commitment to excellent standards of behaviour.
The ideal candidates will:
• have experience of working with young people with special educational needs;
• be a committed team player;
• have the ability to engage pupils;
• be prepared to take part in any relevant training required before the contract starts;
• be committed to Epinay’s ethos of high expectations.
Epinay Business and Enterprise School is an outstanding special needs school currently offering 200 places to pupils in KS1 – KS5.
