The Apprenticeship Directorate are looking to appoint two suitably qualified Trainer/Assessors to join us to deliver Maths & English Functional Skills qualifications. The majority of work will involve workplace delivery including our Apprenticeship provision.

We would welcome applications that have a proven record and experience of delivering English and Maths qualifications with successful outcomes to a diverse range of leaners. The successful applicant will ideally possess an appropriate teaching qualification as well as a Subject Specialist qualification in either Maths or English. However, we are willing to support the successful applicant with training and qualifications. We would particularly welcome applicants who have experience in both apprenticeships and work based learning.

Applicants for this post should have drive and enthusiasm and possess good interpersonal and organisational skills. You should have experience of working in a team, as a commitment to teamwork is vital. Applicants must be mobile throughout the northeast region as this role will include travelling to employer premises.

Applicants for this post should be able to demonstrate in their personal statement practical examples of how they fulfil the person specification.
