The Executive Headteacher and governors of this popular school wish to appoint 3 suitably qualified Learning Support Assistants to a very busy, successful team. At this time the school has 7 Learning Support Assistants who together with the Inclusion Manager work hard to support students with additional needs.
The permanent post will provide targeted support for a students in Year 7 and 8 who were deemed not secondary ready by the end of Year 6. We have two further posts on a 1 year fixed term for two Learning Support Assistants who can provide tailored support to students with ASD.
The successful candidates would be expected to have the knowledge and skills to support students with a variety of specific needs (academic, physical and behavioural) and would be expected to have full involvement with the wider aspects of school life and the local community.
