Apprentice Technical Support Officer (£3.70 per hour then minimum apprentice wage applies to 19 years and over following successful completion of first year)

If you are organised, detail focused and would like to learn technical skills we have an apprenticeship for you.

Based within Environmental Services you will be working within a busy team which provides support to the street cleansing, grounds maintenance, and refuse services.

Throughout the 2 year apprenticeship you will be trained in the required skills and responsibilities to be able to undertake the full range of duties, which include building up the necessary skills to support the team and service delivery by:

• Working towards the achievement of a Level 3 qualification in Business Administration
• Becoming an effective member of the team
• Effective use of electronic communication (i.e. emails and social media)
• Utilising GIS mapping and route planning software packages
• Accurately enter data and produce reports from the same in accordance with data protection principles

Required Qualifications: Either have or expect to achieve 4 GCSEs at grades A-C including Maths and English, or hold an equivalent relevant qualification
