The successful applicant will be responsible for:
- Maintaining and developing systems that will improve school attendance in line with the school and national targets.
- Building relationships with individual parents and carers so that they can improve the child’s attendance, allowing them to benefit fully by accessing the educational opportunities provided.
- Leading the Family Engagement Team within Atkinson House School
So that the post holder has an understanding of how the school operates and pupil’s engagement with lessons and schools behavioural approaches, for some of the week they will be deployed in lessons as a TA (SEN)/Cover Supervisor.
This is a permanent appointment from Monday 4th January 2016.
The post is 35 hours per week, 190 school days plus 5 additional days.
