Are you looking for an opportunity to gain an NVQ in Business Administration whilst gaining valuable work experience? If so, Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council has an exciting new opportunity within the Brokerage Team, Adult Care Department at Belmont House, Guisborough.
As a Brokerage Apprentice you will report to the Brokerage Team Leader and Senior Business Support Officer to provide administrative support to a team of Brokerage Officers. The Team are responsible for the negotiation and procurement of individual care packages and placements for adults, to best meet needs and improve outcomes in the most cost-effective way.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, hard-working, positive individual who is self-motivated and able to work using their own initiative as well as being a team player. The successful candidate will be committed to providing an excellent service and be willing to learn and develop their knowledge.

Apprenticeship Qualification
During your apprenticeship you will be working towards the nationally recognised Business Administrator, Level 3 qualification at Redcar Adult Learning, based in Redcar College.

Essential Requirements:

Apprenticeship opportunities are open to anyone over the age of 16 years old with no upper age limit.

You will need to have a minimum of:
Grade 4 (equivalent to Grade C or above) at GCSE English and Maths or functional skills level 2 qualification in English and Maths. You will need to be committed/willing to work towards the level 3 qualification.

This is a fixed-term contract for 18 months. National Minimum Wage for your age will apply after the first year.
