The governors of St Teresa’s Catholic Primary School wish to appoint a Bus Escort. This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly motivated team.
You will be responsible for the children who use the school bus in the mornings and afternoons to travel to and from school. The successful candidate will be expected to promote high standards of good behaviour and will ensure the safe handover of pupils to families/school staff at the end of each journey.
You should have a good general education. Experience of working with children is desirable and good communication skills are essential. A pleasant, patient demeanour, together with an ability to work as part of a team is essential.
St Teresa’s is strongly committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. The successful candidate will be required to obtain an Enhanced DBS certificate and satisfactory references.
